Join fellow teachers and principals from elementary schools in Chesterfield County and other school divisions in and around VA/USA to share and learn from each other on topics that are of interest to YOU! This is a free event! It is set up as an "unconference" Edcamp. The conference will take place at the Chesterfield Career and Technical Center located on 13900 Hull St Rd, Midlothian VA 23112. Parking is at the rear of the building. Enter via the conference doors in the back of the building.
This event has been sponsored and created by the Chesterfield Association of Elementary School Principals as our second annual opportunity to share best practices with fellow educators from around the area about what works best in schools. This is an opportunity to learn and share ideas on topics that YOU are interested in learning more about. Some topics that may come up as breakout sessions are ways to raise student engagement, best practices in reading/writing/math, project based learning, STEAM, and meeting the social/emotional needs of students.
This is an "unconference" learning event. Participants start the day by helping to create an agenda based on interests/topics from those in attendance. Participants will collectively build their conference agenda from the interests/needs of the group.
If you are an educator interested in sharing and learning more from fellow educators, this is the conference for you! If you have questions about this event please email firstname.lastname@example.org
For Chesterfield County staff this conference event also counts as an IMPACT PD session if approved by your principal.
