Edcamps are participant-driven professional development, based on the “unconference” model. They provide teachers with opportunities to learn and grow together, based on what they identify as their needs. Edcamps are free for participants. Edcamps facilitate the sharing of knowledge and skills that are used to lead digital-age education and provide an informal arena in which educators may build a network of like-minded colleagues with whom to brainstorm and learn. Edcamps also provide administrators with an innovative model of professional development.
